Mutther's Day Puppy Seed Bread

This recipe has been taken from the 3 Dog Bakery Cookbook which is delightful book dedicated to gourmet pet treats. Dottie, Gracie & Sarah gave their wag tail approval when Dan & Mark created this delictable treet. Makes 12 slices-enough for everyone in the family.

3 cups white flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup honey
1 1/2 cups skim milk
1 egg
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix throughly. Pour mixture into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle. Cool before serving in slices. Wrap any leftovers tightly and store.
